Designed with a high-tech aviation theme, the concourse features high ceilings, skylights and glass walls that provide scenic views of the Chugach Mountain Range to the east and the Alaska Mountain Range to the west.

The Municipality of Anchorage manages a People Mover Bus that operates 14 routes. Taxis line up outside the baggage claim at the South Terminal and outside the main lobby at the North Terminal.
