San Joaquin Regional Transit District
San Joaquin Regional Transit District operates 56 routes throughout a 1,426-square-mile service area in San Joaquin County and the Stockton Metropolitan Area. Passengers can access downtown attractions and venues on the downtown hopper service, reach Stockton Metropolitan Airport via Routes 44 and 85 or connect with Sacramento Regional Transit via interregional commuter service. One-way fare is $1.50, while a day pass is $4. Children age 4 and under ride free.

Amtrak
Stockton’s Amtrak station, located at 735 South San Joaquin Street, is open daily from 7 AM to 8:30 PM. The station provides access to the San Joaquin route, which runs daily between the San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento to Bakersfield, also stopping in Modesto, Merced, Martinez and Fresno. Amtrak also operates an Amtrak platform stop at 949 East Channel Street, which also provides service to the San Joaquin route.
