The facility, managed by that San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, served 24 million passengers in 2018. John Wayne Airport (SNA)

The county-owned John Wayne Airport is located 66 miles from Temecula Valley in between Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Newport Beach. The only airport in Orange County to offer commercial passenger service, it saw more than 10 million passengers in 2017. The terminal features sit-down dining, fast-food spots, a spa, and shops, as well as art exhibitions.

Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) Bus System
The RTA bus system covers a 2,500-square-mile service area, running 36 fixed routes, eight CommuterLink routes, and Dial-A-Ride services using 261 vehicles. RTA is proud to run a compressed natural gas fleet and offers service to Pechanga Resort Casino, as well as Old Town Temecula. Fixed-route base fare is $1.50 per passenger. One-day passes are available for $4, while seven-day passes cost $16.

Greyhound
The Temecula Greyhound station is located at 28464 Old Town Front St. The Greyhound station is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

About 40 rental-car companies operate out of LAX, 10 of which can pick up and drop off customers directly from the terminals using courtesy shuttles. At Ontario International Airport, passengers can reach on-airport rental-car agencies Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, National, and Thrifty by taking a shuttle to the Consolidated Rental Car Facility. Rental counters can be found at the arrivals level between Terminals A and B at John Wayne Airport.
