With 114,000 square feet of flexible exhibit and meeting space, the center recently invested $1.5 million to install stadium-style retractable seating in its 31,675-square-foot Exhibit Hall.
In October 2020, the Visalia Convention Center was awarded the Global Biorisk Advisory Council(R) (GBAC) Star accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. This announcement made the Visalia Convention Center the first convention center in the Central Valley of California to be industry-accredited in outbreak and infectious disease preparation and response.
Other venues available at the center include:- 8,316-square-foot Charter Oak Ballroom (divisible into four spaces)
- 3,536-square-foot San Joaquin Ballroom (divisible into four spaces)
- 992-square-foot Grand Boardroom
- 589-square-foot Executive Board Room
- Six other meeting rooms totaling 4,408 square feet in size
