Crested Butte - GUC Airport
Fly to Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) and maximize your time in the mountains. GUC is about a 40-minute drive from Crested Butte. There are flights every day to and from GUC. Rent a car from the airport or hire a shuttle to get to your lodging.
Crested Butte - Mountain Express Shuttle
Hop on the Mountain Express, the free town shuttle, to get around Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. This is an easy and efficient way to get around town if you don't have a car. The bus even makes a stop at the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
Crested Butte - RTA Bus
The RTA bus runs from the south to the north end of the valley. Luggage is not permitted on the RTA, so it's not a good option for getting to lodging from the airport. However, bikes and skis are allowed. Take the RTA from the town of Crested Butte to the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. You can also use it to visit Almont and Gunnison.
Crested Butte - Shuttles and Rental Cars
There are a few shuttle and rental car services in the Gunnison Valley. Shuttles can be booked for rides to and from the airport. There are also a few rental car companies at the airport. You can also hire shuttle services for trailhead pick-ups and drop-offs, and event services.
