Palm Beach Travel and Things to Do Guide
Palm Beach is one of the easternmost towns in Florida, though the state's easternmost point is in Palm Beach Shores. Scattered just outside of West Palm are several colorful towns that are also worth exploring, most situated near the beach. A few of these even boast revived and vibrant downtowns of their own, as well as communities of artists and craftspeople pushing artistic boundaries, many of them displaying their works on the sides of buildings or at local markets.

Weather and Seasonality
Palm Beach enjoys the only semi-tropical climate in the continental United States with an average annual temperature of 78°F. Summers are hot and humid with temperatures averaging between 86°F and 90°F. The coolest and driest months of the year are November to April, when temperatures average between 75°F and 82°F. Palm Beach sees an average of 61 inches of precipitation each year, with the rainy season running from May to October. Thunderstorms are frequent during this time, though they pass quickly. Hurricane season also runs May to October, most activity typically occurring during August, September and October. With cool ocean breezes and average temperatures a pleasant 78°F, Palm Beach is truly a year-round destination. However, the very best time to go is between November and April. With sunshine and little precipitation, Palm Beach offers a warm retreat from chillier climates.
