The Rapid
The Rapid serves as Grand Rapid's fixed-route, energy-efficient public bus system. Running along 27 routes, The Rapid provides direct service to DeVos Place along Route 11 (Plainfield), as well as direct weekday service to the Gerald R. Ford International Airport along Route 17 (Woodland Mall/Airport). The Rapid one-ride fare is $1.50 for adults and free for children under 42 inches tall. Unlimited one-day travel costs $4.60, while a four-day pass costs $11.50 and a 31-day pass $40. Ten-ride passes are $11.50 for adults and $9 for students.
