Conveniently located about 15 minutes outside of downtown Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport flies hundreds of passengers each day to major hubs with worldwide connections. Courtesy of a new terminal opened in 2011, the airport provides nonstop service to Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis and Atlanta as well as features concessions and a gift shop, free Wi-Fi, boardroom rentals and both short- and long-term parking. Passengers can easily hop aboard Metro Transit bus service from the airport, which stops at the airport Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 10 PM.

Metro Transit
The regional Metro Transit is a fixed route bus service that runs throughout the cities of Kalamazoo, Portage and Parchment, as well as the townships of Comstock, Oshtemo and Kalamazoo, and serves Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport, Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Metro Transit also operates curb-to-curb para-transit service. Fixed route bus service runs Monday through Saturday from 6 AM to 10:15 PM, while Western Michigan University service runs Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 10 PM. One-way fare is $1.50 for adults and $0.75 for children less than 48 inches tall. Passengers can purchase an unlimited nine-day pass for $20 or a monthly pass for $60.

Amtrak
Kalamazoo's Amtrak station is located in its historic downtown transportation center at 459 North Burdick Street. Passengers can access Amtrak's Wolverine line, which provides service to Chicago as one of Amtrak's three Michigan Services lines, together running to such destinations as Grand Rapids, East Lansing and Port Huron. The Amtrak station is open daily from 8:30 AM to 10 PM.

Greyhound
Kalamazoo's Greyhound station, located at its historic downtown transportation center at 459 North Burdick Street, operates daily from 8 AM to 10 PM.
