Bloomington Air Travel
Bloomington is centrally located in the United States and is just ten minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. MSP has over 130 domestic routes, plus direct flights to the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, and Asia.

Bloomington Public Transit
The METRO Blue Line offers fast, quiet light-rail service between Mall of America to MSP International Airport (Terminals 1 and 2) and downtown Minneapolis. Riders boarding at Mall of America can reach the airport in 10-12 min. Light rail trips operate every 10 minutes throughout the day, every 10-15 minutes evenings. Rides between the two airport terminals are free.
The METRO Green Line is accessible from the Blue Line and connects riders with the University of Minnesota and Saint Paul.
METRO Transit bus routes connect Mall of America to destinations and attractions within the Twin Cities metro area. Dozens of METRO bus routes are timed to connect with trains.
The METRO Buses, Blue, and Green Lines charge the same fares.

Bloomington Rental Cars
Terminal 1-Lindbergh
On-airport rental car counters at Terminal 1 are located on the second and third levels between the Blue and Red parking ramps. Passengers can take the underground tram to the ramps and then take an elevator to the second or third floor. Off-airport rental car companies are accessible from the Terminal 1-Lindbergh Transit Center, between the Blue and Red parking ramps. From the Tram Level, take the underground tram to the Transit Center. Take an escalator or elevator up one level.
Terminal 2-Humphrey
On-airport rental car counters are located in the Ground Transport Center on the ground level of the Purple Ramp directly across from the terminal building.
All on-airport rental car companies have counters at both terminals. Rental companies include Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty.
