There are two convenient options when flying to Rochester, MN.
The Rochester International Airport (RST) welcomes hundreds of thousands of passengers a year, providing direct flights to Minneapolis and Chicago, with connecting flights to more than 300 destinations. Daily regional jet service is provided by American and Delta. Sun Country also offers ground transportation from RST to MSP through Landline, a luxury motorcoach service.
The Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP), located 90 miles from Rochester, is another quick and easy option for air service. Daily van shuttle service is available dozens of times each day from MSP to Rochester, with shuttle-drop off at a number of Rochester hotels and other locations. Rochester City Lines Bus Line
The city of Rochester operates a convenient bus system that connects attractions, hotels, meeting facilities and major businesses. Stops are recognized by prominent red and yellow signs. Buses can also be flagged on street corners.
Buses run Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:45 PM and from 7:15 to 9:55 PM. Saturday service is offered from 8:15 AM to 6:40 PM. Regular one-way fare is $0.75 for youths ages 6-18 and $1.50 for adults. One free transfer per trip is issued to fare-paying riders.
Shuttles
Five different shuttle service providers operate out of Rochester International Airport. Fares from Rochester International to downtown are approximately $11.50. Go Rochester Direct operates a daily shuttle service from Minneapolis-St. Paul International's ground transportation area to downtown Rochester. Approximate shuttle fare from the airport to downtown Rochester is $23 one-way or $42 round-trip.
Skyways and Pedestrian Subways
Rochester's impressive climate-controlled skyways and pedestrian subways allow access to more than 1,700 hotel rooms, the Mayo Civic Center, shopping, entertainment and nearly 4,000 parking spaces without ever having to venture outdoors. Skyways are open Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to midnight, Friday from 6 to 1 AM and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 10 PM.
Rental Cars
Several familiar rental car companies, including Avis, Budget and Hertz, can be found in the terminal building at Rochester International Airport. Additional rental car companies are located at nearby off-site locations.
At Minneapolis-St. Paul International, rental car counters for Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and Thrifty can be found in both terminals. At the Lindbergh Terminal, counters are located between the blue and red parking ramps in the Hub Building on levels 1, 2 and 3. At the Humphrey Terminal, counters are located directly across from the terminal building at the Ground Transportation Center.

Two taxi companies operate in Rochester: Yellow Cab and Med City Taxi. Minimum fare is $3.75. Fare from Rochester International to downtown is approximately $25.Taxi cab service at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is available on the ground level of both terminals.
