Just 20 minutes from the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), Asheville is easily accessible with service to 17 destinations, including six international hubs, and home to four airlines. Asheville Transit System

Asheville Rides Transit (ART) provides bus service in the city and to surrounding areas. The system consists of 18 bus routes, many conveniently originating at the ART Station. Fares for travel are $1 for adults and $.50 for seniors and students between ages 6 and 19. Children ages 5 and under ride free with a fare-paying adult. Eleven ride ticket books are available for $9. Asheville Rides Transit operates Monday through Friday 6 AM to 9:30 PM, Saturday 7 AM to 9:30 PM, and Sunday & Holidays 8:30 AM to 6 PM.
