San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

Located less than an hour outside Concord, San Francisco International Airport offers nonstop flights to more than 45 international destinations on nearly 40 international carriersand more than 80 U.S. cities on 13 domestic airlines. The airport, which is the largest in the Bay Area region, features direct access to BART rapid rail, Caltrain commuter rail, and SamTrans public bus service.

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

Located about 45 minutes outside of Concord, Oakland International Airport serves as the Bay Area's second-largest airport, accommodating more than 11 million passengers every year. Cabarrus Links
The Cabarrus Links shuttle system connects Mount Pleasant, Midland, and Harrisburg with Concord Mills Mall and the CK Rider bus hub. The shuttle runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 7 PM; one-way fare is $1.

Concord Kannapolis Area Transit (CK Rider)
The Concord Kannapolis Area Transit (CK Rider) bus system operates seven routes in Concord and Kannapolis, with connections at the Amtrak station in Kannapolis. Buses run daily. One-way fare is $1.25, while a one-day pass is $4, a seven-day pass $12, and a 10-ride pass $10. Children under age 5 ride free.

Amtrak
The Cabarrus County Amtrak station is located at 201 South Main Street in Kannapolis. The station is open daily from 6:30 to 10 AM, 11:30 AM to 3 PM, and 5 to 8:30 PM. Passengers can hop aboard Amtrak’s Carolinian/Piedmont line, which provides service from Charlotte to New York City and Charlotte to Raleigh.

Rental Cars
Rental car companies represented at Charlotte Douglas International Airport include Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Sixt, and Thrifty, while Avis is represent-ed at Concord Regional Airport.

County Connection
The County Connection public bus service serves Concord and surrounding communities from about 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. Maximum daily fare is $3.75 per person.
Rental Cars
