Erie Metropolitan Transit AuthorityThe Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority provides daily bus and paratransit service from Erie to Edinboro. Also called the "e," the bus system runs along 14 routes and five college routes, providing direct access to such major destinations as the Erie International Airport, Millcreek Mall, Presque Isle Downs & Casino, Erie Art Museum and Erie Greyhound station. Bus fare is $1.10 each ride and $0.10 each transfer. Passengers can purchase five-ride passes for $4.75, 20-ride passes for $17 and 31-day passes for $35.Bayliner TrolleyOperated by the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority, the free Bayliner Trolley shuttles passengers throughout downtown Erie, to such major destinations as the Bayfront Convention Center and Erie Greyhound station, as well as restaurants and entertainment venues. The trolley runs along the routes; the Green Route runs weekdays from 6:10 AM to 5:30 PM, while the Blue Route runs weekdays from 6 AM to 11 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and the Courthouse Route runs weekdays from 7 to 8:15 AM and 4 to 5:15 PM.AmtrakLocated at 125 West 14th Street, Erie's Amtrak station is open daily from midnight to 2:30 AM and 5 to 7:30 AM. The station sits along Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited route, which provides daily service between Chicago and New York City, passing through South Bend, Cleveland and Buffalo.GreyhoundErie's Greyhound station, located at 208 East Bayfront Parkway, is open daily from 7:30 AM to 9 PM.Rental CarsErie International Airport features on-airport counters for Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, Hertz and National, as well as off-airport Budget service.TaxisVisitors traveling to Erie via Erie International Airport should expect to pay about $17 in taxi fare....
