Washington State Ferries
Washington State Ferries serves 10 routes from Pt. Defiance Park in the southern Puget Sound north to the San Juan Islands and Sidney, British Columbia. Snohomish County features two ferry terminals: The Mukilteo terminal provides daily access to Whidney Island, while the Edmonds terminal proves daily access to Kingston on the Kitsap Peninsula. Fares are based on the size of the passenger's vehicle, the route's geographical location, and the length of the ferry trip.

Community Transit
As Snohomish County's public bus system, Community Transit features daily service in nearly every city in the county and operates at nearly 2,100 stops. Fares are based on distance traveled.

Everett Transit
Serving the city of Everett, Everett Transit operates local fixed-route and paratransit service daily, with connections to Community Transit, Amtrak, and Greyhound.

Amtrak
Amtrak operates several stations throughout Snohomish County. Amtrak's Stanwood Station is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and provides direct access to Amtrak's Cascades route. The Everett Amtrak station is open daily from 7:45 am to 9:00 pm and provides direct access to the Cascades and Empire Builder routes, as does the Edmonds Amtrak station, which open daily from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm to 9:45 pm.

Greyhound
Greyhound operates a bus stop in Everett that's open daily from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
