Hotel Amber is located in Gdansk, Poland. Situated on a picturesque hill in an attractive area, it is an ideal base for those who are eager to get to know Gdansk and its famous downtown district as well as the whole Tricity area, with lots of attractions waiting for tourists. We believe that hotels should give their guests not only comfortable accommodation but also the right atmosphere to work or to have a rest. For people travelling for business we offer a conference hall equipped with high-class audio-video facilities, and a banquet hall capable of holding up to 200 people. Our restaurant serves excellent breakfasts as well as tasty dishes from around world. The smaller banquet hall is situated on the ground floor and can accommodate up to 90 people, though we believe that the optimal number is 80 people. The lower hall is designed with larger events in mind. In the case of a wedding reception it is possible to accommodate about 120 guests. All conference halls are equipped in high quality audio-video equipment. The large hall is designed so that it can seat up to 200 people. Taking into consideration the fact that such a large space is not always needed, the room can be divided into smaller ones with the help of removable walls, creating rooms with areas of 70sq.m, 80sq.m and 80sq.m. In this configuration the rooms can accommodate 50, 60 and 70 people respectively.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
