Hotel Budweis is situated directly in the centre of the town, in a quiet area by the Malše River. The history of the building goes back to the 14th century when a grinding mill used to be located here. The hotel finds itself within walking distance of the main square-shaped square of Přemysl Ottokar II, which counts itself as being one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The hotel has 6 floors with the total of 60 barrier-free rooms, the areas of which range from 23 to 26 m2, of which 59 are double rooms and 1 is a suite. Three rooms are adapted to accommodate guests with disabilities.
