The Daytona Beach Pier is the most recognizable landmark on Daytona Beach and has been the center of beach life since the beginning of the community. There is a firework display that shoots off of this pier Saturday nights during the summer at 9:45 pm for Sounds of Summer Concerts at the Bandshell. The famous Joe's Crab Shack and The Roof, rooftop restaurant and bar with entertainment is located on this famous pier. It is also known as a great fishing spot during the day!
Take a stroll to screamers park which offers the scream of a lifetime with two featured thrill rides called The Slingshot and The Vomatron, billed as the ride the astronauts feared. Open daily at 10:00 a.m. through 12:00 am. The park also offers Screamer's courtyard bar, with happy hour specials serving beer, wine, softdrinks, and jello shots.
