Scandic Rock City is located 250 m from the waterfront in central Namsos. The airport is just 4 km away and the bus station is within walking distance. Our hotel is connected via a glass corridor to Rock City, a national resource centre for pop and rock in Norway. The hotel décor features functional surroundings in the rock mode using hard, tough and durable materials while at the same time taking the guests’ comfort into account. The beautiful surroundings and spectacular natural experiences that characterise Namsos are all close by. Our hotel has an all day restaurant with outdoor terrace that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The style of the restaurant matches the rest of the hotel and the cuisine is hearty and influenced by local dishes. We have a number of meeting rooms and due to our collaboration with Rock City we can arrange events for up to 450 participants. Free parking is available for guests arriving by car and there is free WiFi in the rooms and public areas.

In 1981, Julie founded Everything Done Right Catering, a high-end catering business. During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico. In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
