About us

Splendid Hotel La Torre is located in Palermo, in that part of town known as Mondello, a place somewhere between an unlikely but genuine seaside village, and the charm of one of the most unspoiled beaches in the Mediterranean still impregnated with tastes and smells of the "belle - epoque." The Wonderful Tower Hotel has 168 rooms, furnished with taste and elegance, with stunning views of the gulf of Mondello, sea view and garden view. Annexed to the hotel, our congress centre covers an area of approximately 700 m² . Our Plenary Hall is 250 mq. large and capable of 300 seats. Marriages, cocktails, Gala dinner may find the right location for an unforgettable party.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
