Italienisches Doerfchen is a perfect place that contains a cafe, wine room, club and a restaurant. It also has a castle which is a new meeting place to make friends. Whether it’s a small group or planning a big party, it offers excellent facility. Caffee provides seating for 120 people and a delightful view of the river Elbe, the Hotel "Bellevue" and the Japanese Palace. Wine Room has a drawing-room style and is a popular venue, even for small functions. The Beer Saloon, which is located in the connecting building with a view of the Elector's Room next door, has a beautifully painted wooden beam ceiling. Paul Perk created this artistic masterpiece and Georg Wrba designed the deer heads on the walls. It accommodates 150 people with a magnificent view of Theatre Square, the opera house, the "Bastei Castle" and the river Elbe The rooms capture the sense of history traditionally linked with the centre. We would like to give you a warm welcome to the Elector's Room at the residence of the legendary brewing king "Gambrinus - king of Brabant and Flanders".
