South Australian Museum Meeting Space
More
The South Australian Museum offers stunning spaces with a difference that are perfect for a celebration or function. Superbly located within the CBD on Adelaide’s North Terrace cultural precinct, the museum’s galleries are a wonderful backdrop for your event. The elegant 19th century Pacific Cultures Gallery is perfect for corporate presentations or dinning. The glass fronted foyer, floodlight at night and overlooking North Terrace, is spacious enough for a dinner or cocktail function. Have drinks with one of Adelaide’s famous polar explorers in the Mawson Gallery, take tea with a menagerie of animals or dine with a dinosaur. For alfresco events including weddings, picnics and barbeques the museum’s Armoury Lawns are ideal. The South Australian Museum can guarantee a function that will exceed your expectations and will be remembered by your guests as a unique venue. The South Australian Museum is home to the largest collection of Australian Aboriginal artifacts in the world and is a must for overseas visitors. Our new $4.6 million Biodiversity Gallery tells the unique story of South Australia’s precious wildlife in four distinct environment regions: arid, temperate, coastal and marine. Both these galleries are available for private guided tours.
