About us

The Atherstone Red Lion Hotel is an independently owned and operated traditional coaching inn dating back to the 1500s, situated in the heart of Atherstone. It has been lovingly restored and updated to provide everything you would expect from a hotel which prides itself on being at the heart of the community. Red Lion bedrooms: twin, double, executive double and four poster rooms are available. All have been recently refurbished to a very high standard and have full en suite facilities. Cappellos serviced rooms and apartments offer the same full ensuite facilities but with a more contemporary décor. There is a mixture of single rooms, twin bedded rooms, Double, triple and family rooms. We also have some large apartment style rooms with kitchenette facilities which are ideal for those looking for a longer stay.
