Iron Cactus is an industrialized remodeled nineteenth century building on Austin’s Historic Sixth Street. We are a homegrown restaurant with a unique setting & true Austin feel. Our menu was created by Chef Steve Southern and is assembled from various regions throughout Mexico and Texas. We blend these attributes with a progressive attitude towards cooking to create our own special style of food. We have also carried these flavors over into our bar. Named one of the top ten tequila bars in the country, we feature over 80 different selections of tequila from Mexico. Our specialties include our signature fresh squeezed lime margarita, the “El Agave”. Host a three level event with accommodations for up to 500 guests! Nothing beats the atmosphere of downtown with live music. Be creative and theme each level for a spectacular night of food, entertainment and drink.
