Astoria Hotel and Restaurant is one of the most atmospheric buildings of Balatonfured in the heart of the historical part of the city. The popularity of Balatonfured is primarily due to Lake Balaton and last but not least to the aerated mineral springs and the climate similar to the Mediterranean. Culture, therapy and sport are organically intertwined with tourism. Hotel Astoria is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, in the centre of Balatonfüred – 150 meters from the shore – within the Reform Era district. The elegant and intimate appearance of the building provides a perfect environment for weddings, family and any other programmes, minor conferences, meetings and team building trainings. The three-floor historical style hotel in Balatonfured was renovated in 2004 and offers 17 rooms for guests, providing accomodation for 43 people altogether. Hotel Astoria is also capable of orgainising conferences for up to 30-40 people. Standing reception is possible or to place the seats in rows or in a U-shape for a seated reception in a room with large windows, lit by natural sunlight.
