About us

Take a step back in time into the land of the pioneers of early Natal and experience the peace and tranquility offered on an original sugar estate. The estate was established nearly a century ago by it's founders Douglas Liege and Zillah Hulett. After a trip to Ireland they decided to name the estate "Collisheen" in memory of a town they had visited and enjoyed. Through the years they ran Collisheen as a cattle farm, dairy, timber plantation and of course a sugar estate. Our chapel, complete with private garden, and our extensive functions room, bridal salon and outdoor arena with water feature and landscaped gardens are the perfect venue for an intimate and stylish wedding. It has two conference facilities that can accommodate between 10 and 400 delegates depending on the seating configuration and is perfectly situated for corporate teambuilding, networking, conferences and functions.
