A symbol of contemporary Barcelona, Palau de Congressos de Catalunya is a world class conference venue hosting many prestigious international events since opening in 2000. Located on the prestigious Avenida Diagonal of Barcelona, in the heart of the financial and business area of the city, and just 15 minutes from Barcelona El Prat airport, Palau de Congressos de Catalunya is uniquely placed to serve the international and national market. Designed by the architects Ferrater and Cartañá, the convention centre received the National Architecture Prize in 2001 and continues to astound with its striking features and incredible use of natural daylight. With 44 versatile meeting spaces Palau de Congressos de Catalunya has served as an auspicious backdrop to celebrated events and meetings. The Auditorium can hold more than 1900 delegates and the largest exhibition space is over 1850m² with a capacity for banquets catering for up to 2000 diners. The modular design provides endless options and the centre has a dedicated events department to ensure every event is a success.
