The Alla Rocca Hotel is dedicated with the tradition of hospitality since 1796. It is our precise wish and desire to maintain the historic memories of a landmark that has an inspired background. In a renovated setting that blends ancient and modern times into a harmonious blend of fundamental furnishings, we offer our international clientele and local guests the atmosphere and comforts of a prestigious 4 star hotel for business stays and relaxation between Bologna and Modena. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
