About us

Balloo House is situated only minutes from the shores of Strangford Lough. At Balloo House there is a strong emphasis on serving freshly cooked, local and seasonal produce. The Bistro menu offers ‘pub grub’ classics, dry-aged Irish beef steaks, fresh local seafood and a selection of pastas and risottos. Alternatively, the upstairs Restaurant offers a little bit of luxury with an emphasis on offering the finest local produce and fine wine. Private and corporate dining is available in the sumptuous surroundings of the upstairs Restaurant. It is also the perfect venue for a small and intimate wedding. The Restaurant seats up to 35 and menus are tailor made to meet your specific requirements. There is also a comfortable private bar area which is often used for pre-dinner meetings.
