Een zakenhotel van de nieuwe generatie: eigentijds, elegant en met charmante service — zo presenteert de Dorint Kurfürstendamm Berlin zich aan de boulevard, tegenover de legendarische „Kranzler-Eck”, vlakbij de Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche, de KaDeWe (het grootste warenhuis van Europa) en de dierentuin van Berlijn. Het hotel is van binnen en van buiten ontworpen door de beroemde Berlijnse architect Jan Kleihues.De taps toelopende buitenkant van 17 verdiepingen met zijn afgeronde randen en subtiel beschaduwde kalkstenen gevel trekt de aandacht. Fijne houtsoorten, warme kleuren, heldere lijnen. Alle 311 kamers en suites in de Dorint Kurfurstendamm Berlin zijn puristisch, maar toch extravagant van stijl, maar bieden ook de nieuwste, geavanceerde technologie. Elke kamer is uitgerust met een flatscreen-tv en gratis breedbandinternet. De badkamer is bijzonder ruim bemeten, met aparte douche en bad. Alle Komfort-kamers zijn onlangs gerenoveerd. Er zijn 16 flexibele conferentieruimtes met een totaal van 2.200 m². Een belangrijk hoogtepunt is de elegante Concorde-balzaal met 450 vierkante meter, een mooie parketvloer en rijen grote ramen aan twee zijden van de kamer. Een andere is de indrukwekkende Salon Opera, met meer dan 300 vierkante meter, een unieke halfronde vorm en een panoramisch uitzicht over de Kurfürstendamm. Alle vergaderzalen hebben natuurlijk daglicht, ramen die verduisterd kunnen worden, geïntegreerde projectieschermen en gratis WiFi. Het hotel biedt Franse savoir-vivre direct aan de Ku'damm: het restaurant Le Faubourg met terras, de lounge-bar en het restaurant St. Germain voor ontbijt en privélunches en -diners. Het hotel biedt ook een fitnessruimte, sauna, stoombad en voetenbad.

Het meest opvallende gebouw aan de Kurfürstendamm, de meest exclusieve winkelstraat van Berlijn, in de half verwoeste Kaiser-Wilhelm Memorial Church (Gedächtnis-Kirche). Aanvankelijk waren er plannen om de kerk te slopen om plaats te maken voor een nieuwe, maar door publieke druk gebeurde dit niet. In plaats daarvan staat de kerk zoals hij altijd heeft gedaan, met zijn gebombardeerde toren - een constante herinnering aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Tegenwoordig is de kerk een herdenkingszaal, waar bezoekers nog steeds het interieur van de kerk op de begane grond kunnen zien, zowel voor als na opnamen kunnen zien, en meer te weten komen over de geschiedenis van de kerk en de omgeving.
