Built in 1998 to complement the performance facilities at Symphony Hall, CBSO Centre is the home of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and its sister organization Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. Located in Birmingham city center, the building is easily accessible from both Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill stations as well as all major road networks. The centre provides a range of performance, rehearsal and meeting facilities, including a magnificent 300-seat fully flexible auditorium. When not in use by the CBSO the main hall is available for public concerts, conferences, educational workshops, meetings, exhibitions, dinner dances, weddings and much more. In total, there are 7 rooms that are ideal for such events including our Common Room which is ideal for pre, post and interval receptions, corporate hospitality, entertaining, exhibition space or as a meeting point for groups.
