El Dorado International Airport (IATA: BOG, ICAO: SKBO), is the main and most important airport in Colombia. It is located 15 kilometers west of downtown Bogota. Operates domestic and international flights. It occupies an approximate area of 690 hectares
It is the third busiest passenger in Latin America behind the Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, Brazil and the International Airport of Mexico City, in Mexico.
The airport was named in 1959 in memory of the famous legend of El Dorado due to which the European conquerors I searched unsuccessfully on his expeditions in the Americas, a "golden city". The History of Bogotá and the country in general is closely linked to that legend, as near the present city is located Guatavita Lagoon, where a rite described in the famous legend was celebrated.

Yes, A part is delivered to the joint ownership. The Hotel delivers plastic caps and recycled paper to a foundation for children with cancer and in turn delivers the waste to a company where it makes the final disposal.
