Cancellation Policy

Non-refundable deposits are due in advance for all performances at the time of contract execution. Please note proof of insurance is also due at this time. Cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance on event AT MINIUMUM for special events. Cancellation policy for concerts is 30 days in advance of performance AT MINIMUM. This is also the policy for any large scale events that take place in our Auditorium. Please note that the client may be billed for additional expenses beyond the deposit for actions and materials taken and contracted for on behalf of the client in conjunction with the event.

Event Insurance

Event insurance is required.

Facility Restrictions

There is no open flame per order of the Boston Fire Department. All banners/posters/standing advertisement material is subject to the approval of the Boston Fire Department prior to use inside Symphony Hall. Other restrictions may apply. Please speak with the Venue Rental Manager for details regarding the capacity and availability of each space. Venue has an exclusive food service provider. Venue has a liquor & catering license. Venue requires that all production be provided by facility unless otherwise approved in writing.

Additional Information

Please note that for certain events we may be able to arrange special performances by the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and Maestro Keith Lockhart. Please note that the Auditorium is available for special events (400 attendees or more) during certain times of the year. Please speak with the Venue Rental Manager for more information.
