Adams National Historical Park

Spanning nearly 14 acres, Adams National Historical Park is made up of 11 historic structures of significance to five generations of the Adams family from 1720 to 1927. The birthplaces of former U.S. Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams as well as "Old House," home to four generations of the family, are found in the park. Also on the grounds is the Stone Library, which houses a collection of 14,000 volumes and is thought to be the first presidential library. Two-hour guided tours are available for those who wish to see the historic homes. Adams National Historical Park is open daily, April 19 to November 10, from 9 AM to 5 PM. The last tour departs at 3:15 PM. Tickets cost $5 for adults and are free for children under 16. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Garage parking is available and can be validated.
