The Apple Tree Hotel is a great base to explore the many local places of interest and attractions in Somerset. The nearby Quantock Hills were the first place in England to be designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), it received this protected status in 1956.Explore the Quantocks by horse riding, mountain biking, walking or on a day trip, complete with its attractive villages, jurassic coastline, wooded combes, heathlands, hills, farmland and panoramic views which reach across the river severn to South Wales, there are lots to see and explore from ponies and red deer to bats and buzzards.

First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
