About us

Wythe Hotel offers over 13,000 square feet of unique and sophisticated corporate event space, complete with in-house event planning services and state-of-the-art A/V setups. With stunning Manhattan skyline views, exceptional food and beverage options, and impeccable service, Wythe Hotel is the perfect venue to host your next corporate event or team gathering. Wythe Hotel is Brooklyn’s original boutique hotel, focused on community, food, culture, and warm, genuine service. As the first hotel built in and for Brooklyn, Wythe Hotel honors the neighborhood’s industrial roots while celebrating its creative spirit. The property preserves historic elements of the original factory building (built in 1901) with exposed wooden beams and cast-iron columns, while infusing modern character through curated artwork and floor-to-ceiling windows with waterfront views of the Manhattan skyline. The hotel features 69 spacious guest rooms with luxurious touches, including custom-made reclaimed timber beds, heated concrete floors, and vintage fixtures. Wythe Hotel’s unmatched food and beverage program is led by Chef Partner Aidan O’Neal. His neighborhood brasserie on the ground floor, Le Crocodile, has been named one of “The 100 Best Restaurants in New York City” by The New York Times and earned a rave three-star review, along with multiple Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Williamsburg, Wythe Hotel offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern amenities, making it an ideal setting to inspire, engage, and elevate any corporate meeting or offsite experience.

Come walk and discover New York - city and state - with the Street Teacher - take a step into a new world! Although primarily giving tours around New York City, I am available for tours in Philadelphia and Boston, if any should desire - and I love taking people to Washington D.C. New York
Our company was founded in 2008 by Alana Hoye Barnaba. Originally from upstate New York, Alana moved to New York City and immediately began her love affair with its food, history, and culture. For years before creating her company, Alana tried every type of food the city had to offer and began specializing in the tastes of ethnic neighborhoods. Some of her first experiences with the city’s culinary adventures were fresh dumplings and homemade mozzarella — foods included on the signature tour today. Soon after, Alana started Ahoy New York Tours & Tasting and has been sharing her love for the passion, culture, and history of the city through food tours of New York neighborhoods. Ahoy New York Tours and Tasting’s goal with each tour is for customers to leave not only with the knowledge of the area and full of delicious food but also an experience to tell friends and family about long after the tour is complete

In 1992, New York Offstage began, when founder, Bev Sambrotto, left her role as Assistant Director of Visitor Services at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Her tenure at Lincoln Center gave her invaluable experience as a producer of refined cultural events. This experience included talent recruitment and coordination with world-class talent from Lincoln Center’s companies, cutting edge event planning and production for Fortune 500 corporations, and creative, interactive program content for patrons, and international travel and luxury group clients. New York Offstage flourished as the industry leader in these immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences showcasing New York’s cultural world. As the company grew it was evident that its services and business model could be copied in other leading cultural destinations and in 2007 the brand was renamed The Offstage Group. Until 2012 The Offstage Group served groups of all sizes. The company had weathered several economic downturns and as a safeguard changed its business model to include memorable experiences for individual travelers. Your VIP Pass was born!

Facility Restrictions

Guest count / capacity limits. Each event space has a maximum capacity depending on set‑up (seated vs. cocktail vs. standing). All food and beverage for events is provided in‑house. On a case‑by‑case basis, we can accommodate outside catering for a select number of guests to meet specific dietary restrictions. Use of event spaces is subject to event‑space scheduling, with load‑in / load‑out and set‑up times typically predefined and requiring coordination through the hotel’s Events Team. For outdoor or terrace events (e.g. Garden Terrace, rooftop, terraces), there may be seasonal or weather‑related restrictions (e.g. some outdoor spaces only available certain months) and potential limitations on timing or use of sound/outdoor amenities depending on weather. Because Wythe is a working hotel, events must consider noise, respect other hotel guests, and likely follow internal sound‑ and curfew‑related rules (e.g. on music volume, ending times).
