Born again from the ashes of the former Hungaria Spa the Continental Hotel Budapest combines traditional hospitality and excellent service to meet the expectations of the 21st century traveler. Our aim in developing our hotel was to create the perfect location for a home away from home. Our 4-star superior hotel offers 272 bedrooms splitted into Standard, Deluxe and Executive rooms, as well as Suites, revives the spirit of the legendary accommodation keeping its name and historical facade. The historical Continental Hotel was opened in 1910 as part of Hungaria Bath, which has been established in 1827 as the third largest spa in Budapest. The historical building reflects art deco features, a perfect harmony and fine elegance combining a modern world of colours and forms. The hotel offers great facilities for conferences, meetings and events. The main conference hall, the Hungaria room has a capacity up to 160 people in theatre style, while the 4 other function rooms of 24 to 60 sqm provide additional meeting options. To guarantee a perfect venue for conferences and meetings each of the conference rooms features natural light, air-conditioning, and state-of-the-art audiovisual technology. Conference guests can enjoy the inner courtyard during coffee breaks.
