About us
Boxted Hall is a glorious 14th century historic moated house located in Bury St. Edmunds, England. It offers a beautiful and serene setting for private functions, relaxing informal breaks, and romantic wedding receptions. It remains a private residence where we allow only one booking at a time, so we can guarantee total exclusivity, privacy and complete attention to detail. Boxted Hall have plenty of room for parties of guests to enjoy drinks in the gardens, play croquet on the lawns, feed the swans in the moat and soak up the beautiful surroundings. We can accommodate up to 84 guests for a 3 course wedding breakfast, and up to 150 guests for an informal evening buffet. The house lends itself perfectly to intimate wedding parties with six reception rooms at your disposal to orchestrate the wedding of your dreams.
