Enjoy the Destination savings of the 0% VAT tax by qualifying for hosting a meeting in Mexico. 16% Federal VAT TAX Rebate Concession: Qualifications necessary for Group to be considered: Company must reside outside of Mexico; Group must contract one meeting during group stay, and provide proper documentation. Upon arrival of each guest, Program Contact to present valid passport along with completed tourist card to Hotel Convention Services Contact and a copy will be kept on file. The VAT tax at 16% remains valid for Guest Rooms and Banquet F&B with a BEO, (Banquet Event Order) when billed to the master account. No incidental charges are valid for the VAT exemption. Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
