The Hotel has 23 versatile conference and banqueting rooms, with a total area of 5000 sq.m. Conference space ranging from 19 to 2200 sq.m, all supplied with sophisticated state of the art audio visual equipment. “Al Saraya” ballroom is the largest hotel banquet hall in Cairo with a capacity up to 2200 persons. The ballroom is accessible by car and has no columns. InterContinental Citystars Residence Suites, located on a separate yet connected building from the hotel, is the perfect place for longer stays. InterContinental Residence Suites have a separate private entrance with an instant check-in desk and a specially dedicated parking area. Accommodation options include one, two, or three bedroom suites and four bedroom penthouses all with their own kitchen. In line with the current government regulations, InterContinental Cairo Citystars has introduced additional steps and measures to ensure the well-being of our guests and employees including: • Upon arrival to hotel entrance, guest temperature is being checked. Protective equipment are available for guest use including face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer dispensers. • Guest luggage is sanitized at the hotel entrance before entering the hotel. • Social distancing signage and floor markers are in place in all the hotel’s public areas. • Check in process is performed in a contactless manner using single-use pens and sanitized key cards. • As per the IHG clean promise, before arrival, guest rooms are deeply cleaned with hospital grade disinfectants. Reflecting the advice of the World Health Organization and government regulations, we have enhanced our procedures to include additional deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces. • As an additional level of precaution, guest room entrance is limited except to perform housekeeping service every 5 days, should a guest like more frequent housekeeping service, we are happy to provide it where a 4 - hour window is available, guest room must be vacant and request must be received by 9AM. • Meeting rooms’ capacities have been revised to reinforce social distancing.
