Cancellation Conditions (Full cancellation of event or rooms): In the event of cancellation by Company after confirmation, the following cancellation fee will be applicable. This fee will be a percentage of the Total Agreement Revenue and will be calculated on a sliding scale. Any deposits received are included in the overall cancellation fee: More than 3 months before expected arrival 20% Between 2 and 3 months before arrival 50% Between 1 and 2 months before arrival 80% Less than 1 month before arrival 100% The cancellation fee shall constitute full settlement of any and all obligations arising out of the non-performance of this agreement and is non-commissionable. Reduction Conditions (Reduction in numbers), In the event of a reduction by Company in the total number of reserved rooms or function and food and beverage requirements over and above the agreed attrition allowance the following reduction fee will be applicable.
Additional details
• The Room Rates are quoted on a per room per night basis and include 15% VAT but excludes a Tourism Levy which is currently ZAR40 per room per night. • Room Rates are quoted based on 10 or more rooms per night. Should the group fall below 10 rooms per night the Hotel reserves the right to review the contracted rate. • All Rooms at the contracted rates include breakfast at Reuben’s Restaurant. • Room rates are commissionable at 10% on the base rate on materialized rooms and following final payment and the receipt of a commission invoice./ Rooms are net and non commissionable. • All rates are confidential and are not to be disclosed to a third party without the consent of the Hotel. • Single occupancy indicates one adult in room; double occupancy indicates a maximum of two adults and two children under 12 years old. Children under 12 years old are accommodated without charge using existing bedding. Children over the age of 12 years old will be charged a supplement of ZAR650 per night.
