Positioned opposite the gorgeous al fresco styled Cape Quarter piazza and the flamboyant crowd at Manhattan’s Restaurant and bar, The Charles can be described as being ‘The Spirit of the Village’ in a town that surely is ‘The fun Capital of Cape Town.’ The Charles was originally created by adjoining three adjacent historical houses, whilst maintaining the historical Georgian façade. Each room has an individual positioning and design, and the multi-leveled layout of the guesthouse is joined by inner and outer staircases. The Charles has two spacious roof decks, from which guests can enjoy beautiful city and Table Mountain views, especially late afternoons.
