About us
Set in the heritage listed village of Gundaroo NSW, the fully restored Gundaroo Colonial Inn was once known as Matt Crowe's Wine Bar, and has been in continuous operation since it was established in 1872. Ideally situated just 15 minutes from the ACT border, it is just 40 minutes drive from Canberra's CBD. The Inn offers accommodation, a functions venue as well as a bar and restaurant and stocks a comprehensive selection of local wines in its take-out bottle shop. The wholesome menu, friendly country hospitality and the beautifully restored building makes the Gundaroo Colonial Inn the perfect venue for your next function. The Stringy Bark Function Room offers a separate area for functions, private meetings or gatherings. The Red Gum Licensed Bottle Shop enables people to browse and choose from a selection of high quality wines.
