About 2 hours west of Mackay is where you will find the Jolly Collier Hotel Motel. With some of the largest operational mines in the Bowen Basin, Dysart has much to offer. The hotel is situated in Queensland’s fastest growing region offering a familiar place to stay for ‘Business’ and ‘Leisure’ travelers seeking mid-price accommodation. The Hotel boasts 51 well appointed rooms, an indoor and shaded outdoor play area, large restaurant with separate breakfast dining area and three bars. It boasts function areas and conference facilities for hire to host special events and private parties. The beer garden can cater to groups of 300 people and the bistro bar for up to 180 people.
