Sarah Jayne – Oct 2017-10-27 Had the most amazing afternoon tea. The staff were friendly and attentive (especially the Manager Alun). The table was beautifully laid out and the view was lovely. The staff checked if we had food allergies and adjusted our afternoon tea accordingly. The food was fresh, looked beautiful and tasted amazing. The processco was lovely, as were our teas/cappuccinos. A wonderful treat, which we will definately repeat. Thoroughly recommend. Rebecca Lewis reviewed Copthorne Hotel Cardiff-Caerdydd – 5 star 18 July • Had my wedding here last weekend, I cannot thank Becki, Phil, Alan and all reception staff to the bar staff and waiter/waitresses! Cardiff Castle is an impressive medieval castle in the heart of the city. It was built in the style of a Victorian Gothic revival mansion and fuses two architectural styles. It is not clear from historical records whether the castle was commissioned by Robert Fitzhamon or William the Conqueror. Either way, it is the epicentre of the medieval town.
