About us
The Heather Glen Country House is an elegant late Victorian Mansion set in 2½ acres of old English Gardens. Situated deep in the beautiful River Eden Valley yet only 10 minutes drive from junctions 41 (Penrith) and 42 (Carlisle) of the M6 Motorway. The family run Heather Glen Country House is fully licensed and open throughout the year. The recently refurbished restaurant, bar, lounges and bedrooms offer a high standard of accommodation and our traditional open fires in the lounge and bar all offer a warm welcome. Our oak panelled restaurant and conference room pictured here has a capacity of up to 120 people and is a popular function and wedding venue. The Heather Glen is available for conferences and meetings all year round. We provide a superb and inspirational setting for all types of functions with 2 conference rooms that can hold up to 200 delegates.
