If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Carlisle that has warmth, character and history then look no further than The Angus Hotel and Almonds Restaurant. The hotel is a large Victorian property built in the 1850’s originally as two large Victorian houses. The Angus Hotel, is ideally suited for small weddings and special occasions. We offer excellent service and have a selection of imaginative menus and good quality wines for you to choose from. The hotel is also ideal for small meetings, training sessions and business events. Our meeting room is available for hire. Our 13 en suite bedrooms are all situated on the first floor and are decorated in calming, neutral tones with extra comfy beds and matching fabrics. We have a good mix of singles, twins, doubles, families (sleeping 3) and a popular triple room with 3 single beds. On advance request we can make one of our twin rooms into an indulgent double with 6ft bed.
