Since 1982, the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center has served as a key player in the city´s economic development strategy and as platform to attract businesses and professionals from around the globe. With a unique historic waterfront location, the venue offers more than 26,058 mt2 of versatile facilities, including open spaces, networking and coworking areas. Its infrastructure supports concurrent events ranging from 12 to over 2,000 delegates, making it ideal for multilateral summits, conferences, exhibitions, weddings, concerts, and more. Privately-managed by Grupo Heroica, the venue holds AIPC´s Gold Level Quality Standards Certification and integrates environmentally friendly technologies through its solar rooftop.

We are members of lCCA, the International Association of Congresses and Conventions, leader in the field of meetings worldwide with the participation of members from 90 countries and more than 1000 companies. Thanks to our membership you have access to the ICCA worldwide database to have access to international events that rotate in the region and to participate in the candidacy processes of the country and city to bring them to an enclosure, thus achieving positioning of Colombia, Cartagena de Indias and the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center. We also have access to special training events around the world. We belong to the International Association of Conference Centers (AIPC), a recognized association of the professional industry in the management of Convention Centers worldwide. The AIPC occupies a unique position among several organizations that represent the meetings tourism industry. It is an international organization with representation from 54 countries around the world that focuses mainly on the identification of difficulties, opportunities and challenges faced by convention and exhibition centers. The AIPC's commitment is to promote and recognize excellence in the management of convention centers and at the same time provide tools to reach high international standards for the operation of events through research, education and networking programs.

Cancellation Policy

1. To make the reservation of an area you must sign the contract and make a deposit of 30% of the value of it. 2. The increase in the number of people for the event, will be received with a maximum of 72 hours in advance of the event, as long as they do not exceed more than 10% initially contracted. 3. The Convention Center Cartagena de Indias will make an additional charge of 30% for the right of entry to the equipment and services of providers other than those of the Center. 4. There will be an additional charge of 10% of the total value of the event, which will be reimbursed in full or in part 15 calendar days for the purpose of unforeseen events. 5. The CCCI schedule for congresses, conventions, corporate, fairs is from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. The extension of rent in hours before or after stipulated, has an additional surcharge per hour of 1.5 of the regular value. It does not apply for social events. 6. The term of the quote has a term defined in this quote. Any request outside the validity period of the offer is subject to availability and change of rates without prior notice. 7. Warning tip: Consumers are informed that this shop suggests its customers a tip corresponding to 10% of the value of the account, which may be accepted, rejected modified by you, according to your assessment of the service provided. . At the moment of requesting the account, indicate to the person who attends it if you want that value to be included or not in the invoice or indicate the value you want to give as a tip.
