Las pasarelas de Paiva se encuentran en la margen izquierda del río Paiva, en el municipio de Arouca, Aveiro, Portugal. Son 8 km que proporcionan un paseo «intacto», rodeados de una belleza paisajística única, en un auténtico santuario natural a lo largo de las bravas aguas de bajada, cristales de cuarzo y especies en peligro de extinción en Europa. La ruta se extiende desde las playas fluviales de Areinho y Espiunca, entre ellas, la playa de Vau. Un viaje por la biología, la geología y la arqueología que quedará, por supuesto, en el corazón, el alma y la mente de cualquier amante de la naturaleza.

Esta obra barroca de Nicolau Nasoni fue construida en la primera mitad del siglo XVIII. La Torre de los Clérigos es uno de los monumentos más emblemáticos de la ciudad de Oporto.

Estación de tren de Pinhão

La estación de tren de Pinhão es la estación más bonita del Duero. Construido durante el siglo XIX, es conocido por sus azulejos que representan la producción de vino de Oporto, desde la cosecha de la uva, el pisado de las uvas hasta el transporte del vino en barcos rabelo río abajo hasta las bodegas de Vila Nova de Gaia.
El tren llegó a Pinhão en 1880, lo que contribuyó a la rápida expansión de lo que solía ser un pequeño pueblo.
En 1937, la estación recibió los paneles de azulejos que la hacen famosa. Fueron diseñados por J. Oliveira, un artista que también ha decorado otras estaciones portuguesas, y se construyeron en la fábrica Aleluia de Aveiro. Hay 24 paneles que cubren casi todas las paredes del edificio principal.
Observar los paneles es como leer una historia, contada por las imágenes que representan las etapas de la producción del vino. También es un viaje al pasado en el que se pueden observar varios aspectos del valle del Duero que ya han desaparecido.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
