Located in the town of Vizzini, the birthplace of the famous writer Giovanni Verga, Camemi Castle is ideally situated for visiting some of the most beautiful places in Sicily. Do not miss the nearby town of Caltagirone, famous for its craftsmanship of fine ceramics colorful appreciated throughout the world and for the historic flight of Santa Maria del Monte also included 102 steps covered with ceramic tiles. The 14 rooms, elegantly furnished with period furniture, have been studied individually in order to maintain the original charm of the castle. The spacious rooms of the castle are ideal for celebrating special occasions and important events with elegance and care of the preparations.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
