The Ophir Tavern, located just off the Great Western Highway in Orange NSW, offers visitors warm and friendly hospitality. Just a 3½ hour drive west of Sydney and 3 hours North West of Canberra, the Ophir Tavern is in close proximity to the regional centers of Bathurst and Dubbo, making it an ideal point of call for travelers. The Tavern has the best value accommodation in town. All rooms are motel style on the ground floor, comfortable, spacious, and individually air conditioned for heating and cooling. The rooms can accommodate up to four guests in comfort and are ideal for families. Bedding configuration consists of a double size bed and two single beds. The Tavern has a full range of facilities to host functions of all types. With 2 Function Rooms on offer it can cater from small intimate groups to large celebrations. The smaller function room is perfect for business entertaining & small conference groups whereas the larger function room is ideal for engagements, weddings, conferences, seminars, presentations and fundraising nights.
